I was able to attend New York Fashion Week with Elaine Biss. Elaine is a Fashion Illustrator who I reached out to for my creative report and after seeing my work she offered me a fashion illustration internship which I completed last year alongside second year. The opportunity to attend New York Fashion week as her plus one arose. To good an opportunity to miss I attended. It was a great networking opportunity and allowed me to meet Elaine face to face after a year of contact over Facetime.
This opportunity encouraged me to network with Elaine and others I didn't know on a face to face basis beneficial to my practice and will help me to transition into working in industry.
