COP 3: Second Tutorial Feedback

The second tutorial with Orlando encouraged me to consider time management as I want to be able to finalise a first draft for him to proof-read. It also enabled me to think of alternative ideas for my practical work.

My view: I am a feminist but just because I am doesn't mean I need to label myself as one

  • Reverse roles e.g. Advertise for dog food using fragrance advertising techniques
  • Focus on the unexpected product - dog food
  • Theoretical conclusion should inform practical work, they should be integrated
  • Produce a range of ideas for practical not just one
  • 'Femvertising' is contradictory
  • 'Femvertising' is backstabbing as the 'end goal is the same'
  • Find out if I am more for or against the topic (what's my preference) to conclude
  • How can the practical work become interwoven?
  • Finish the first draft for proof read
  • Brainstorm multiple ideas not just one
  • Dog food is a good example of a non-feminist product
  • Find better visual references based on the commodification of feminism
  • Can you create contradiction within you outcome which links to the contradicting views of feminism.
