Preparation for Print

The client brief was to design business cards in black and white to keep costs down. The business card had to have the directors mobile number, the website, email address of the business and the website QR code. The client wanted a minimalist design to fit with the high end luxury aesthetic of the business. The design has a monochrome typographic aesthetic to fit with the logo. The client is using Vista Print as a cheap printing method so design dimensions were specified to Vista Print's template. The client was pleased with the design outcome and quick turnaround. A design the client, Samantha Burke was happy with was produced in 24 hours. 

I did suggest alternative higher quality print companies such as Moo but due to wanting the keep the costs low Samantha has decided to use Vista Print. Perhaps in the future if she was to consider further development she would use Moo and the design could be developed to add a finish such as spot varnish.
